Now ‘a change of heart' is slightly different.

You can see that it's treated like a noun phrase.
你可以看到它是作为名词短语使用的。
It's always a change of heart and it's usually singular.
“改变心意”的形式不会变化，一般是单数形式。
And this idiom is about a change in attitude.
这个习语是有关态度的改变的。
A change in the way that you feel about something.
是你对某件事情的感觉有了变化。
So imagine that you found a dress and it's perfect to wear to your friend's wedding.
想象一下，你发现了一条裙子，而且非常适合穿着去参加你朋友的婚礼。
It's gorgeous, you love it but you're not sure if it's going to go with the shoes that you've already got at home.
它超级华丽，你超级喜欢它，但是你不确定和家里的鞋搭不搭。
You're not sure if you should buy it.
你不确定是否应该买这条裙子。
But the shop assistant says “If you have a change of heart, you can return it tomorrow.”
但是店员说“如果你改变心意的话，明天可以再来的”。
Now be careful that you don't use this idiom in the same way as the previous ones.
要注意，这个习语的使用方式与前一个不太一样。
You can't say “He changed his heart” or “I changed my heart”
你不能说“He changed his heart”，或者是“I changed his heart”。
It doesn't work, it's not the same, it sounds a bit weird.
这不行的哦，这并不是相同的，听起来有点点奇怪。
It's usually used with the verb ‘have'.
它一般都是和动词“have”一起使用。
He had a change of heart.
他改变心意了。
She will probably have a change of heart.
她可能会改变心意的。
I still remember when I was eighteen years old and I moved out of my family home.
我还记得当我十八岁的时候，从我父母家里搬出来。
I was moving into an apartment with some friends in the city and as I was saying goodbye to my parents,
我和父母告别，和我的一些朋友搬进了城市里的另外一个公寓，
I started feeling really sad that I was leaving
我开始真正地感觉到有点伤心，因为这次是真的离开了，
so my mum said “Well if you have a change of heart and you decide to move back home, you'll always be welcome.”
所以我的妈妈说“如果你改变心意，想要搬回家的话，我们一直向你敞开怀抱”，
which made me feel a lot better about leaving.
这句话让我对离开这件事情不那么伤心了。
Now speaking of moving house, we have our next idiom, ‘a change of scene' or ‘a change of scenery'.
好的，说到搬家，那让我们聊聊一个新的习语吧，那就是“改变环境”。
And this idiom is used when you move to different surroundings, you know, a different environment.
当你搬到不同的地方，就是全新的环境中的时候，就可以使用这个习语。
It could be used to talk about where you live or where you work.
当谈论你居住的地方和你工作的地方的时候，就可以使用这个习语。
Tim was tired of working at his father's company.
蒂姆对在他父亲的公司工作感到非常厌烦。
He wanted a change of scene so he applied for a job in Sydney.
他想要换个环境，所以他申请了悉尼的一份新工作。
I'm so tired of this little, tiny town.
我对这个小城市厌烦了。
I've been living here for twelve years.
我在这里生活了十二年了。
I need a change of scenery!
我需要换个环境！
I'm going to move to New York.

A change of pace is used in a similar way.
“改变步调”的用法相似。
It talks about a change from your normal, daily routine so you can use it to say that you need to try something different for a while.
它说的是改变你例行的日常，所以你可以使用这个习语来说你需要一下不同的东西。
A change from what you're used to.
从你习惯的东西中脱离出来。
If you're not feeling very inspired by English these days or very motivated to practise, perhaps you need a change of pace.
如果你最近学英语的斗志不太高昂，没什么动力进行练习的话，可能你需要改变一下节奏了。
You could travel to another country where you have to use your English and practise more.
你可以去一个必须使用英语的国家旅行，进行练习。

Five useful idioms all about change, ones that all have very similar meanings but are used slightly differently.
