21 Dead in Kenya Hotel Attack
肯尼亚酒店袭击中有21人遇难
At least 21 people are confirmed dead after a terror attack at a luxury hotel complex in Nairobi, Kenya this week. The attack began with a car bomb in the parking lot followed by a suicide bomber in the lobby. The complex then filled with gunfire and civilians spent hours hiding in offices and bathrooms until security forces came to their rescue. The security operation continued for 19 hours and resulted in the evacuation of about 700 people. A Somalia-based terrorist group named al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attack and cited President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as the cause.
