And I'm Lucija. You know English is not a difficult language.
Everyone can learn it.
I'm not sure I agree with you. Why not?
Some words are difficult to learn.
Consider the words Everyone and Anyone.
想想Everyone和Anyone。
Oh! Those are tricky! What's the difference?
Let's find out.
First let's cover Anyone and Anybody.
These two words are interchangeable.
You could say "Has anyone seen my keys?"
Has anyone seen my keys?”
Or "Has anybody seen my keys?"
或“Has anybody seen my keys?”
They would both be correct.
Some language experts say Anyone is a little more formal
and is used in academic writing more often than Anybody.
Ok, does the same apply to Everyone and Everybody?
Yes, it does! Now, I guess there is some difference between Anyone and Everyone?
Yes, there is. Let's take the following sentence as an example:
Everyone likes singing.
Everyone likes singing.(每个人都喜欢唱歌。)
Here, the meaning is that every person likes to sing.
Now, if we said "Does anyone like singing?" that would refer to one person or more,
如果我们说“Does anyone like singing?”,意指一个或多个,
but not necessarily all the people. Make sense?
Yes, it does! Everyone refers to all, and Anyone refers to one or more people in a group.
