Here's something I'm trying to figure out, some of these oddities

Big Stone County here for example where some of these counties down here

Why Democratic voting, we go across the border into Iowa, we'll see lots of farm counties in Iowa, Democratic voting

Now let's look at our cases, what brand of Lutherans may practice

Evangelical Lutheran Church, that's a liberal Lutheran church, that's the theologically and socially liberal

And you can see concentration here along there

Compared to the Missouri Synod which is the conservative Lutheran branch, the fundamentalist branch, we can see many more in Nebraska

but actually that county we're just talking about, Big Stone County Democratic voting
