Hi guys today I've come to a Sakura Festival
小伙伴儿们大家好，今天我来到了一个樱花节的现场
and they have lots of these happening at most parks and during April
大多数公园四月份都会举办很多活动
so I'm going to show you guys what it's like, so come with me
我会带大家去看看日本的樱花节是什么样的，跟我走吧
Thanks to Oregon I was able to visit Kenroluen in Kanazawa
感谢Oregu旅行社的赞助，让我能够参观金泽的兼六园
it is one of the top three parks in Japan to see cherry blossoms
兼六园是日本看樱花最热门的三大园林之一
when you go to a Sakura Matsiri or a cherry blossom festival in English
去“樱花祭”，用英语讲就是“樱花节”的时候
there are lots of foods stores there
会有很多美食店
so you can try a variety of different types of foods
能够品尝到各种各样的美食
the common ones you usually find are karaage which is fried chicken
一般你会发现有炸鸡
okonomiyaki, yakisoba, fried noodles,
大阪烧，炒面
yakitori which is basically chicken skewers
鸡肉串儿
sausages, Castella which is like sponge cakes
香肠，海绵蛋糕
and I even found little fried squid here
我甚至还发现了烤鱿鱼
so I'm gonna eat the Castella that I just got
我现在要吃我刚买的蛋糕了
it's like in this bag and it was 300 yen
都在这个袋子里了，一共300日元
and it's like this, it's like sponge cake
长这样儿的，跟海绵蛋糕差不多
I wasn't planning to get this
我本来不打算买的
but the guy he was so nice to me and explained to me about this area and everything
但那个男生实在是太好了，一直跟我介绍这个地方的方方面面
so I just got it
所以我就买了，
it's always nice to talk to locals
一直很喜欢跟当地人聊天
I think when you're in an area and don't just look at the tourist spots
我觉得大家去了一个地方之后，不要只把目光放在景点上
really interact with the locals
切身地去跟那些当地人交流
because I think that's when you know where to go what to eat and what the locals do
因为跟他们聊天，你就能知道去哪儿，吃什么，他们都做些什么
oh, that's good
啊，好好吃啊
so after you get full from eating you can take a walk around
吃饱之后就可以四处转转了
and look at the cherry blossoms, or in Japanese "hanami"
看看樱花，用日语将就是“花见”
Cherry blossoms usually bloom from around late March to early April
樱花一般在3月下旬到四月上旬开
depending on where you are in Japan
但不同的地方开的时间会不一样
and I was really lucky to go on a day that the cherry blossoms are in full bloom
我很幸运，来的时候花开得正好
so it looks so beautiful
看着好漂亮啊
and in most Japanese parks, there is also a traditional Japanese garden
日本多数公园都有传统的日式花园
and I also saw these cool people in sunglasses getting married
在这儿我还看到了两位带着酷酷的眼镜的新人
there are also lots of shops where you can get Japanese sweets and ice cream
这儿也有很多卖日式甜点和冰淇淋的小店
like green tea ice cream, or even this really cool gold paper ice cream
比如有绿茶冰淇淋，甚至还有这种超酷的金纸冰淇淋
so we got this, whoops, I dropped it I dropped it
我买了这个，啊，掉了，掉地上了
but this nice lady next to us, she gave us this
但是旁边这位好心的阿姨给了我这个
Japanese dango like sticky rice
团子，像是糯米做的
so sweet of her.
她简直太贴心了
I'm gonna see how it tastes
我准备尝一下，看看味道如何
so it's called as a Hanami Dango which is basically um just normal Dango
这个叫花见团子，跟普通的团子并没有太大区别
but probably the colors are kind of like Hanami colors
但是可能是因为这个颜色很特别，有点像花的颜色
like the cherry blossom colors
像樱花
with the pink for Sakura and I know like, three hanami like
粉色的这个像樱花，感觉像三种樱花
oh really nice. it's not that sweet, sweet as I thought
啊，很好吃耶，不是很甜，没有我想像的甜
it's chewy, it's nice
很有嚼劲，好吃
oh, no, it's good
啊，天啦，太好吃了
so yeah that was my cherry blossom festival experience
