day 2 we got up bright and early and headed to the famous Tottori Sand Dunes for some fun!
第二天我们起了个大早，天气也很好，我们准备去鸟取县著名的沙丘找点儿乐子
These Sand Dunes are the largest Sand Dunes in Japan
这些沙丘是日本境内最大的沙丘
and if you happen to visit here, don't just see it
如果你还没有来过这里，请不要只停留在看视频上
but try out the many activities that can be done here
一定要来这里体验一下这里的项目
like paragliding sand boarding, Sunrise Yoga and so much more
比如滑翔，日出瑜伽，还有很多其他项目

Super super fun experience
超级超级好玩
I mean the first time I landed
第一次降落的时候
and I landed right on my stomach
我直接来了个肚子着地
and then I got all the sand like in my pants now
现在我的裤子里都是沙子
But the second and third time I got my landing right
但是第二次，第三次的时候我都准确地着陆了
so a big round of applause for me,
所以对我来说是值得表扬的
the sun's coming out it's getting hot
太阳出来了，越来越热了
let's go to our next location
我们去下一个点吧
Tottori is well known for their delicious pears,
鸟取县的梨非常可口，也非常有名
so we can't go home without trying out the pears
所以我们绝对不可以不吃这里的梨就打道回府
Okay, let's go pick some pears now
好啦，我们先来摘两个吧
Oh. It's so sweet and it's so juicy
哇……好甜，好多汁啊
And if you come to Tottori
来鸟取县的话
you should definitely check out the indoor sand museum
大家一定不要错过室内的沙雕博物馆
Wow. It's so big, it's bigger than I thought
哇……好大呀，比我想象的还大
Next we headed over to the fish market for some lunch
接下来我们去海鲜市场吃点儿午饭
Being so close to the sea, Tottori has a lot of fresh seafood you can enjoy
鸟取县离海非常近，所以有很多新鲜的海鲜供大家享用
The restaurant we went to lets you enjoy seafood at it's freshest
我们来的这家餐厅能够让我们吃到最新鲜的海鲜
as they catch the fish right out of the tank in front of you
因为店员都是在我们年前抓鱼的
This restaurant specialty is their raw squid
这个餐厅的特色是生鱿鱼
and my local friends recommended me to try it
我当地的朋友推荐我尝这个
so let's see how that goes
所以我们来看看这道菜到底怎么样吧
So if you squeeze lemon and put it here,
如果你往这里挤柠檬汁儿的话
the legs will apparently come alive
鱿鱼的腿儿就会动
It's like it's dancing
像跳舞一样
Actually I don't really like raw squid,
说实话，我不太喜欢吃生鱿鱼
but I'm gonna do it for you guys and since I'm in Tottori right now
但是为了大家，而且毕竟我现在是在鸟取嘛，
It's not as slimy as I thought it would be
并没有我想象的那么黏，那么滑
Afterwards we got the squid legs deep-fried
我们还要了炸鱿鱼须
and there are also many other fresh sea-food you can try out
但是，这里也有很多其他的新鲜海鲜大家可以品尝
if you're not a fan of raw squid.
如果你不喜欢生鱿鱼的话
but actually the squid was pretty good
但是鱿鱼真的相当好吃
It didn't have a slimy texture or strong taste,
没有很黏，味道也不是很重
and it was a really fun experience overall
而且总体来说，感觉还是挺好玩儿的
Next we have come to this place which specializes in making Japanese paper,
接下来我们来到了这个地方，这里是专门做和纸的地方
and we're going to take a class to make a lampshade
我们准备去学习一下怎么做灯罩
This type of Japanese paper is tougher than ordinary paper
这种和纸比一般的纸要牢
because it's made from wood pulp
因为是用木浆做的
and this is what it should look like when you put it in your room
做好的灯罩放在屋里应该就是这个效果
And lastly we will be spending the night in a hot springs town
最后，我们准备再一个温泉小镇过夜
and staying in the traditional Japanese Inn
住在一家非常传统的日式旅馆
I Love to stay in a Japanese Inn
我喜欢住日式旅馆
But I love the atmosphere more when it's in a hot spring town,
如果是温泉小镇的日式旅馆就更棒了
and you can just go down for a nice peaceful stroll
你可以到外面安安静静地四处转转
So peaceful here, listening to the sound of the water
这儿好安静啊，静静地听着流水的声音
This is such a beautiful onsen town, really it is,
这里真的是一个漂亮的温泉小镇，真的很漂亮
and at nighttime, they've got a festival going on so I'm really looking forward to that
而且晚上他们有庆祝活动，好期待啊
And there's nothing better than ending your day with a nice traditional Japanese meal
没有什么比用一顿日料来结束一天的行程更美好的了
Staying in the Japanese Inn truly gives you the whole Japanese experience
住在日式旅馆，你真的能够全方位地体验日本
So I recommend staying at Japanese Inn at least once in your life
所以，我建议大家，一生之中一定要住一次日式旅馆
Also check out the hot spring town at night
另外，请大家不要错过温泉小镇的夜晚时光
because the shops open and the town comes more alive
因为那个时候店铺陆陆续续开张，整个小镇都充满了活力
