Phoebe: Oh hey Ross, oh, so glad someone's here. Could you zip me up?
菲比：哦，嘿，罗斯，哦，还好你在。你能帮我把拉链拉上吗？
Ross: Sure.
罗斯：当然。
Phoebe: Thank you. Can you believe no one between my apartment and here offered to do that for me?
菲比：谢谢。你相信吗，从我家到这里，一路上居然没有一个人主动帮我把拉链拉上！
Ross: People. So why you so dressed up?
罗斯：什么世道。那你为什么穿得这么隆重呢？
Phoebe: Oh umm. Mike's picking me up for a date.
菲比：哦，迈克一会儿要接我去约会。
Ross: Oh yeah? Now, how's that going, is it getting serious?
罗斯：哦，是吗？现在进展得怎么样，已经变得认真起来了吗？
Phoebe: Oh I dunno, I dunno, I mean you know, I like him but you know, am I ready to take my grade-A loins off the meat market? I'm not quite sure.
菲比：哦，不知道啊，不知道，我的意思是，我喜欢他，但是难道我现在就要对外宣布“此甲级小腰肉撤市禁售”？我还不能确定。
Ross: You know, I really admire your whole dating attitude; it's so healthy. I'm always like, is this moving too fast? Is this moving too slow? Where's this going?
罗斯：你知道吗，我真的很欣赏你的约会态度，如此健康。而我总是这样：是不是进展得太快了？是不是进展得太慢了？关系进展到什么程度了？
Phoebe: Yeah, you know, you are a bit of a drama queen.
菲比：是啊，没错，你有点像戏剧女王。
Ross: But you, you're so much better off, you know. You just go from guy to guy having fun and not worrying that it'd never turns into anything serious.
罗斯：你就比我好多了，你知道吗。你只是不停地从一个男人换到另一个男人，从中寻找乐趣，而且从来不用担心是不是会变成认真的感情。
Phoebe: I wouldn't say never, you know. There's that guy... OK, well, what about...OK, well, there's gotta be someone.
菲比：我不是说永远不会，你知道吗。会有一个人……好吧，比如说……好吧，肯定会有那么一个人的。
