So it's my great pleasure to introduce

Maurice M. Ohayon from Stanford University He is a psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry

and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University

And he is the Director of Stanford Epidemiologic Research Center He has an unusual background

He has a PhD in biology but he also has doctors in mathematics as well as computer sciences

And he really joined forces with this sleep community about 15 years ago

where his research began to focus on epidemiology of sleep and mental disorders in the general population
