In this lesson we will be focusing on pre-intermediate level models 11 to 15
本课我们将主要学习预备中级课程的模块11-15
The first thing we'll learn about is gerunds “ing” forms
首先要学习的是,关于动名词的ing形式
The after verbs of liking and disliking
它是liking和disliking的后缀动词
Gerunds are verbs forms turned into nouns
动名词指由动词转化为名词的动词形式
We can change the verb “to talk” into a gerund
我们通过后加ing可将动词to talk
by adding “ing” to the end
转为动名词
talking, talking on the phone is one of my favourite things to do talking
讲话,我最喜欢在电话里讲话
Anna likes walking; I'm interested in playing rugby
安娜喜欢走路,我喜欢玩英式橄榄球
Notice that the gerunds can be either the subject
要注意动名词既可以成为句子的主语
or the object of a sentence
也可以成为宾语
And they often come after prepositions
并常在介词后面出现
And the sentences on the screen
屏幕上显示的句子中
talking is the subject, walking is the object
talking是主语 walking是宾语
And playing comes after the preposition “in”
Playing跟在介词in的后面
At our first dialogue for the day
今天的第一个情景对话
Demonstrates the use of gerunds, verbs forms turned into nouns
将会示范动名词,由动词转为名词的动词形式
pay close attention
注意下面的视频
Feeding the duck is my favourite things to do
喂鸭子是我最喜欢做的事情
I like eating them more. This is boring
我更喜欢吃鸭子,喂鸭子,太无聊了
You like running them over with your scooter
你喜欢用摩托车辗死它们
you're a cruel, sick old man
你这个冷酷无情的老变态
Let's start throwing rocks at them
我们来拿石头砸它们吧
Why do you hate the ducks?
你为什么恨鸭子?
Well, they like messing on my lawn
因为它们就爱糟蹋我家草坪
It's not as if they contribute to society at all
再说它们对社会又没任何贡献
You're old. You don't contribute anything to society!
你老了,你也对社会没贡献了!
Did you find or not found any gerunds in that scene?
你从他们的对话中发现任何动名词了吗?
Well done if you did
如果你发现了,那很不错
here's the dialogue again without subtitles
再来听一遍无字幕的对话
Feeding the duck is my favourite things to do

我更喜欢吃鸭子,喂鸭子,太无聊了
You like running them over with your scooter
你喜欢用摩托车辗死它们

It's not as if they contribute to society at all
再说它们对社会又没任何贡献
You're old. You don't contribute anything to society!
你老了,你也对社会没贡献了!
Now we will study the terms “like doing” and “would like to”
现在我们来学习词组 like doing 和 would like to
Read the sentences aloud with me
跟我大声朗读句子
I like playing tennis
我喜欢打网球
Anna loves knitting
安娜喜欢编织
In these 2 sentences like and love are followed by a gerund
这两个句子里的like和love
Playing and knitting
都在playing和knitting的前面
now try reading these sentences
现在朗读下面的句子
I would like to go travelling
我愿意去旅行
I would love to go swimming at the beach this afternoon
我愿意下午去海边游泳
Notice that would like and would love
注意到would like和would love
are followed by the word “to”
均被to这个词跟随
When we ask questions we use the forms “would you like to”
当我们开口询问时,要用 would you like to
And “do you like”
以及 do you like 的形式
Would you like to go running?
你愿意去跑步吗?
Do you like skiing?
你喜欢滑雪吗?
Remember that “love” is stronger than “like”
记住 love 比 like 要更为强烈
However the word “do you love” is not as common as “do you like”
但是 "do you love"不如"do you like"那么常用
It can get a lot of confusion, can't it?
两者经常会造成混淆,不是吗?
Watch the next dialogue for easy clarification
观看下个情景对话以便理解
