Since the appearance of post-1980s literature in the start of 21st century, it has aroused great attention and arguments among people. In someone's opinions, the keyboard becomes a medium of expression for the young writer's rebelliousness(叛逆). It allows them to give voice to feelings of youthful romance, desire and ambition, as well as isolation(孤独，与世隔绝), confusion and frustration.

While, on the other hand, these post-1980s writers are criticized for only chasing commercial interests, lacking of deep thoughts. Some critics even express their concerns that the cynical(愤世嫉俗的) attitudes towards life expressed by the post-1980s writers might have negative effects on young readers.
但是另一方面，也有人指责80后作家唯利是图，缺乏思想深度。一些批评家甚至认为这些80后作家在作品中所表现出的玩世不恭的生活态度会对年轻读者产生负面的影响。
However, despite these worries and doubts, we have to admit that the post-1980s writers have stepped into the literary world, with a large group of readers and supporters.
然而，不管世人对80后作家有怎样的担忧与疑惑，我们不得不承认他们已经踏入了文坛，并且拥有大批的读者与支持者。
