Nelson Mandela's body left No.1 military hospital again on Thursday in Pretoria to lie in state for a second day at the Union Buildings.
Thousands of South Africans lined the streets to view Mandela's coffin being taken to the government buildings, where he was sworn in as the country’s first black President in 1994.
His body will lie in state in the Union Buildings until Saturday. His funeral will take place in his home village of Qunu in Eastern Cape Province.
