1. As far as 就 ... 而言, 远到..., 到 ... 程度

例句:This is a book, which I dare say, is unequaled as far as translation practice is concerned. 就翻译训练而言我认为这是一本无出其右的好书。

2. Be involved in 涉及到, 与 ... 有关联

例句: They were involved in a long legal wrangle over payment.

Mary nudged my arm when they asked if anybody spoke Spanish but I didn't want to be involved in the argument.

Regard ... as...把 ... 看作 认为…是

例句: I felt so ashamed of you. 我真为你感到羞耻。

She was ashamed of her children's (bad) behaviour.她因为她的孩子不规矩而感到羞愧。

1. concern vt.涉及, 影响, 关心

语法用法：so far as ... is/are concerned，as far as ... is/are concerned，so far as concerns和as concerns都是“就...而言”的意思。注意后两种表达中concerns用复数不用单数。

例句：These problems concern all of us. 这些问题影响到我们每一个人。

How much money I earn is none of your concern. 我挣多少钱与你无关。

例句: The gamble paid off. 赌赢了。

Chase vt.追捕, 追求

Why do modern people chase material possessions? 为什么现在的人们追求物质财富？

They caught the puppy after a long chase. 他们追了很久才把小狗逮住。

We must chase the enemy from our country. 我们必须把敌人赶出我国。
