Now then, if you could pick one thing which sums England up to you, what would it be?
We've been asked to vote for the objects that most represent Englishness to help create an online portrait of English icons. The first 12 have been announced, so we are gonna have a look at some of the highlights here.
As a backdrop to the portrait, the song that's become the anthem of last year's Ashes victory (2005 Ashes Cricket Series), Jerusalem.
Can't stop conducting, can you, right? The largest icon on the list, though, is what's thought to be England's oldest monument, and that is Stonehenge as you see there.
Also on the list, a modern monolith, Anthony Gormley's Tyneside artwork, The Angel Of The North.
Next, is the icon of wartime England, engineering prowess, and courageous pilots in the Spitfire.
London's famous Routemaster double decker bus also made the first 12 despite the fact they were taken out of service earlier this year.
Now next, we have something that completes every English fete or seaside resort. That is the Punch-and-Judy show, or something like that.
Er, this defining portrait, the one down there, of ur~ Henry VIII is also included despite the fact that the artist Horlbein was born in Germany.
And sport is represented in the form of England's most famous football competition, the FA Cup, which you'll be hearing more about today.
And from one cup to another, a proper English cupper.
