2. A suicide bomber struck during the funeral for two anti-al-Qaeda tribesmen. At least 50 people were killed in the attack north of Baghdad and 20 others were hurt in the blast.

 

3. Roughly one in five US troops is suffering from major depression or post-traumatic stress from serving in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. An equal number has suffered brain injuries. That's according to a study by the RAND Corporation.
