1.All 47 crew members of a Seattle-based fishing boat have abandoned ship. That's after the vessel started sinking about 120 miles off the Alaska coast. The coast guard says, so far, more than half the crew have been safely recovered from life rafts.
2.New photos of the Minneapolis Bridge before it collapsed last summer show warped connector plates. There were visible bends in steel plates that held parts of the bridge together as early as four years before the accident. The photos are part of a report issued by the National Transportation Safety Board.
3.Pope Benedict is using Easter to call attention to Tibet, the Middle East and Africa. Thousands attended the Sunday Mass in St. Peter's Sqaure braving the heavy rain and occasional thunder.
4.A Honolulu man tried to cheer up his sick grandfather by bringing a stallion to visit. Trouble is, his granddad, was in the hospital. A hospital spokeswoman says the man and the horse managed to take an elevator up to the third floor before they were stopped by security.
