1. An AP investigation finds pharmaceuticals in the drinking water of at least 41 million Americans. Scientists state the concentrations are tiny, but they’re concerned about the long-term consequences to human health. Utilities, meanwhile, insist their water is safe.

2. As Lauren Burk’s family and friends say their final goodbyes, the mother of the man charged in her death is offering an apology. Catherine Williams says her heart goes out to the Burk family. Her son, Courtney Lockhart, was taken into custody Friday night.

3. Chinese officials say police have uncovered a plot to attack the Beijing Olympics. Authorities say the raid in western China last month turned up guns, homemade bombs and other materials. Two people were killed and fifteen others arrested in that bust.

4. Everything seems to be going NASA’s way for a Monday’s planned liftoff of space shuttle Endeavor. Forecasters put the odds of favorable launch at 90% for weather. Endeavor’s 16-day flight will be the longest ever by a shuttle visiting the International Space Station.
