1. Churchgoers are remembering the victims of the Northern Illinois University shooting rampage. Members at First Baptist Church of Dekalb passed out red ribbons to several dozen people attending this mourning service. A gunman killed five students and wounded sixteen others in a lecture hall Thursday before taking his own life.
2. Officials say racing has been a known problem along this Maryland highway where eight street racing fans were killed yesterday. Residents say they've complained about reckless driving and street racing on Route 210 for more than twenty years.
3. Celebrations could be heard ringing through the streets in Kosovo. The province declared its independence from Serbia by a unanimous vote. Kosovo is planning on quick international recognition as the world's newest nation.
4. Astronauts aboard the shuttle Atlantis are preparing to leave the International Space Station. Hatches between the two spacecrafts are set to be sealed, and Atlantis is scheduled to undock tomorrow, returning to Earth on Wednesday. NASA says it couldn't be more pleased with this latest mission.
