1. A British Airways jet landed short of the runway at London's Heathrow Airport, forcing the evacuation of the 152 passengers and crew members. Three people were injured. The underbelly of the plane was seriously damaged in the emergency.
2. Fed chairman Ben Bernanke says he supports an economic stimulus package. Testifying before Congress, Bernanke also says 2008 will see slower growth but not a recession.
3. Police investigating the death of a pregnant Marine in North Carolina say they may have recovered the murder weapon. They say a witness provided something that could have killed twenty-year-old Maria Lauterbach. Police have not located fellow Marine Cesar Laurean, the suspect in her death.
4. Britain's Prince William has completed his first solo flight as a member of the Royal Air Force. It was a surprise since the heir to the throne just began his four-month stint with the Air Force last week.
