The Senator had said he intended to resign last month but has now vowed to serve out his term. 2. Outside a Philadelphia bank, a robber shot and killed two armoured car guards. Another was wounded by shattered glass. The guards were servicing an ATM when the shooting started. Authorities are looking for the robber. 3. Most residents living near a landslide in San Diego can return home. Officials say conditions are stable today. The landslide cut a 50-yard-long chasm across a four-lane street, leaving a 20-foot ravine behind. 4. In Lebanon, Kentucky, this man is protesting the Wal-Mart going up next door by sitting.
