1. A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Japan today, killing at least eight and injuring hundreds. The quake started a fire at one of the world's most powerful nuclear power plants, sending radioactive water into the Sea of Japan.
2. A judge in Los Angeles has approved a record 660-million-dollar settlement between the Roman Catholic Archdiocese and more than 500 alleged victims of clergy abuse. The judge says settling the case was the right result.
3. A manhunt's underway for a former sniper-turned soldier suspected of killing his estranged wife in Wyoming. Forty-year-old Robin Munis was shot in the head early Saturday while singing in a restaurant.
4. And Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab. After six weeks at Promises in Malibu, the 21-year-old checked out of the facility but will voluntarily wear an alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet as part of an outpatient program.
