1. At a memorial service today in Charleston, South Carolina, thousands turned out to mourn nine firefighters killed in a warehouse fire. Meantime officials say they are making progress in the investigation into what sparked the blaze.
2. An Ohio sheriff says a baby found on a doorstep does not belong to a missing pregnant woman. Hundreds of volunteers have been searching for Jessie Davis who is nine-month pregnant. She vanished last week.
3. The space shuttle Atlantis has landed at California's Edwards Air Force Base after a two-week mission to the International Space Station. Clouds and rain in Florida forced NASA to land the shuttle at a backup landing site.
4. New York is about to become quieter at least a little. The noise code has been revised for the first time in 30 years and now has new restrictions on trucks in residential neighborhoods. It even reins in the levels on rover, more than ten minutes of barking could result in a ticket for the owner.
