2. Potential presidential candidate, Fred Thompson, says he's been diagnosed with a non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a form of cancer. The diagnosis came nearly three years ago. He is in remission and has no illness or symptoms. Thompson served in the Senate and also acts.
3. Thousands remembered legendary football coach Eddie Robinson of Grambling State University. The coach won more than 400 games and sent many players to the pros. His funeral drew politicians and former players, all swapping memories of the coaching giant.
