1. President Bush was in Latvia today where he told an audience that American troops will be staying in Iraq until the mission is complete. He also said that the US will make any changes needed for success in the war.
2. Amidst large protest Pope Benedict began his first trip to a Muslim nation. Speaking in the Turkish capital, the Pope called on leaders of all religions to turn their backs on any form of violence in the name of faith. The Pontiff also urged dialogue and brotherhood between faiths.
3. Prosecutors say 8 people have been charged in the death of a teenager at a Florida boot camp. Seven former guards and a nurse face aggravated manslaughter charges after their rough handling of the teen was caught on videotape.
4. Former "Saturday Night Live" regular Tracy Morgan was arrested in Manhattan early Tuesday morning on drunken driving charges. The 38-year-old comedian, who currently costars on NBC's "30 Rock", pleaded no contest to a drunken driving charge in February of this year.
